Kale Chips

It is growing season in our garden, which means we are starting to get more kale than we know what to do with! These fresh kale chips were the perfect snack to munch on with any other dish or snack. We were able to eat them just an hour after the kale was harvested, which I think is pretty cool - so incredibly fresh! I went a little bit crazy with the salt, so I recommended sprinkling some on, then taste testing, then adding more if necessary, but starting small.

Ingredients ~

1 head kale, washed and thoroughly dried 2 tablespoons olive oil Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions ~

  1. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.

  2. Remove the ribs from the kale and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Lay on a baking sheet and toss with the olive oil and salt. Bake until crisp, turning the leaves halfway through, about 20 minutes. Serve as finger food.
